Change Africa Trust seeks to integrate challenges facing the East African people and find collective solutions to address some of these increasingly repressive and manipulative measures by the regional and individual states. The approach is to consider relations between the East Africa Community (EAC) member states to start with. This is in recognition of the complexity of challenges within the East Africa Community member states and part of the effort to build strong advocacy coalitions to address these challenges.

Change Africa Trust is advocating a non-violent, radical vision for change as it strives to protect the value systems of East African Countries by promoting democracy, human rights as well as economic equity, social justice, and good governance through innovations

Change Africa Trust aims to create initiatives for change, development, welfare, and increase the awareness of citizens by advocating human rights and democracy mainly but not limited to East Africa.

Change Africa Trust is about sharing values, promoting democracy, protection of human rights, increasing political participation, championing good governance, promoting citizens’ duties and responsibilities, monitoring accountability, and campaigning for economic equity
